We would definately buy from them again and recommend them to all our friends and family...
We had a lifelong dream to build a nice home on a large piece of land, and when we moved to Georgia in 2000, we bought a temporary house in a small subdivision. Moving here allowed me to really explore the local area and to check land values where I would like to build this dream home. It ended up taking me over 6 years, but we finally found a beautiful 16 acre parcel just one mile from my house. When we started building, I purposely located the house at the back of the land, close to the woods and to the old farm pond. I also set it at an angle to the land to insure shade on the back porch and to have a good view down the 1,000 foot long driveway. Also, because of of the relative seclusion I was looking for, I chose to keep the main living area windows with out any dressings. The house plan was perfect for our family! Some of my favorite features include the 16 x 40 full gym that we built, the large open living space with maple hardwood floors, the back porch deck and patio that looks out on our pond, and so many other features I can't even begin to go into... We highly recommend this designer and their house plans, and would definately buy from them again and recommend them to all our friends and family...

Want to See Even More Reasons Why People Choose Biloxi House Plans.com Over All Other Home Designers?
It was so close to what I would have designed myself.
I began looking for house plans in the fall of 2006. My husband and I had just sold our home to move in and take care of my recently widowed Mother. Our youngest son was in college and also still living at home. We sold many of our things and put the rest in storage. We were living in my childhood home. We all knew we needed a layout to accommodate our new family dynamic. We were fortunate that my late father had purchased some land years before and the area was perfect for a new home. We are in a restricted, large acre lot with extra wooded acreage behind the home site. My husband and I were looking for a home that would provide the needed space for my mother, the space for a college student, as well as the place we would enjoy retiring to. I began searching home plans on the Internet. I found many plans but always came back to one of the first plans we found. I was looking for a split design, a large open living space and a bonus room. We found a perfect plan. It reminded me of a traditional home with a slight French style. It was so close to what I would have designed myself. The two bedrooms on one end serve as my mother’s quarters. We did increase the size of her rooms by extending the length of the house by one foot. One room used for a sitting room and the other for her bedroom with a bath in between. This provides her with her own space without making her feel isolated. The large window with the transom on the front gives her a great deal of light and she does not feel she is sitting in a bedroom all day. In the far away future it will serve as two guest rooms and a private bath. The openness of the living room, kitchen, breakfast nook and dining room is perfect for our extended families. Now that my mother is living with me, we are usually the home where many of the family gatherings take place. We can be in the adjoining rooms but all feel we are together. We changed the three large windows in the living room to a sliding glass door opening out to the porch. We also had the porch screened in and an additional cement patio poured out from the house. This gives even more gathering and entertaining space. The master bedroom and bath are perfect for us. Being on the opposite end of the house ensures privacy and the spaciousness gives us the option of a sitting and TV area in our room. We did rearrange the master bath to accommodate a little larger shower and a larger tub but we still have the water closet and double sinks, which we love. The laundry room is huge and we opted to leave out the half bath and put a built in office space where the bath and closet were on the plan. This opens the space even more. One reason we felt comfortable giving up the half bath is because we opted for the full bath in the bonus room over the garage. We finished this room and it was a perfect hideaway and bedroom for our college-aged son. He recently purchased his own home and now our grandchildren are thrilled with our bonus playroom and their own bath. We opted for a slab foundation and vinyl siding. We are very happy with this home. We moved in our home in July of 2007. We look forward to many more years in this wonderful home!
Thanks for helping us find and build our dream home!!
We have lived in our current two bedroom, one bath, 988 square foot home for 12 years. Since we moved in, we've subsequently had 2 children. Making it a little cramped to say the least. So we started looking at other homes. Not much caught our eye in our small town, so we looked into a quality modular home, but they only have so many options available. That's when we came across your site and my wife fell in love witha certain plan. We started in May of 2009 with 1.17 acres on the edge of town, and I went about excavating some trees and brush from the property with the help of some friends and a bulldozer. Once we decided where to place the home on the lot, we started digging for the basement. We did all of the digging and tile drainage ourselves, and basically whatever else we could do for ourselves to save money. We then hired a contractor to pour the footers and basement for us. Once that was completed, we installed our steel support beams and posts. And finally we hired a contractor to construct the home, as per the blueprints supplied to us from the designer. The contractor has done an excellent job, and we have been able to do alot of the inside work ourselves to save money, like insulate, hang drywall, install doors, etc. The house is shaping up nicely, and we are at the "mudding of the drywall" stage now and hope to complete the home in the next month. Our kids are so excited to have their own room. We will have 3200 square ft of living space. We won't know what to do with ourselves. Thanks guys for helping us find and build our dream home!!
My husband & I were living in Oklahoma when we had our twin daughters. They came early and we didn't have any family out there so we decided that we would move back to Tennessee where all of our family lives. We purchased a small 900 sq. ft. doublewide mobile home just 1 mile from my parents and 3 miles from his parents. It was most convenient to have built-in babysitters. After 5 years, when our daughters were walking & talking and headed for elementary school, we decided that 900 sq. ft. just wasn't big enough. We were given 9.77 acres of land by my husband's mother, and began looking through house plans online and went and bought your plan catalog. A few house plans in there actually appealed to me, but we decided to go for a certain house plan and find a contractor. The contractor we chose was actually my father-in-law's best friend. He agreed to build the house for cost + 10% which is unheard of now. We were able to get nearly everything we wanted for just at $200K. Hardwoods, tile, fireplace, basement, stainless appliances, brand new front load washer & dryer on pedestals, etc. Some of my favorite features of this home are the large master bathroom, the his & her closets in the master suite, and the wonderful basement. Also, we made just a few updates to the layout of the home including: taking the workshop out of the garage, on the main level, and used it to increase the size of our pantry/laundry room. Also we added a single garage door in the basement for a workshop. We also re-arranged one of the bathroom areas so that we could have a bigger window on that side of the house. And finally, we opened up the wall between the media room and living room and we use it as a open office... It has been a dream come true. It's not our first house but it's OUR house. We love it! On top of all of that we have managed to pay off all of our debt (credit cards, cars, student loans) and we are now paying 1/2 mortgage payment bi-weekly. We only owe ~$200k but our house & land have already been appraised at over $325K, so we are happy about that. Thank you for the wonderful service your company provided in the beginning so that we could manage to have a such a beautiful home now!
If you need house plans, I would definitely recommend this designer..
We looked for months and fell in love this house plan. After our purchase of the plans from this designer, we made a few minor modifications to suit our special tastes. The modifications were a breeze. We truly enjoyed working with the plans and our builder. The plans have all the different elevation drawings so you can compare the house to the design. It is amazing how much the real house looks like the drawings and sketches. Some of our favorite features of this home design is the big dining area, the open floor plan, seperate sleeping areas, large bonus room, and double garage. The designer's house plans were easy to read, detailed, and provided a great value and lots of fun for us. If you need house plans, I would definately recommend this designer.
You have been excellent to work with. I'll have to admit, we've never done this before, much less working with someone online, but you far exceeded our expectations! We are so excited about getting started on our house. The Lord has really blessed us to be able to this and we give Him all the thanks.I will send you pics of the house once we have completed if you like. Take care and thanks again!!
