Want to See Even More Reasons Why People Choose Biloxi House Plans.com Over All Other Home Designers?
Thanks so much to the whole gang for making my dream house design come true!

We had been looking for the "perfect" home design for quite a while, and were beginning to think that our ideal plan didn't exist. At about that time, we were referred to this designer, who had large collection of stock house plans, all of which could be modified to fit our exact needs... We ending up selecting a specific home design, and Stephen and his team worked with us to understand our exact modification needs. No matter how particular I could have possibly have been, the group of people at this company was willingly ready to take care of my every issue and need to the fullest extent. Thanks so much to the whole gang for making my dream house design come true.

We laughed and said, "It must be meant to have this one!"

On July 7, 2009 my family lost our entire home to a house fire. We were devastated! It took us a good month to gain our composure and for reality to actually set into our minds. When things settled down we realized we were in need of a home. We LOVE our land/property and the area in which we live. We didn't want to go and buy a new home in a different area. We settled in a Rental property to get the kids started and in a routine for the start of the school year in August 2009. And then we began the search for a set of house plans that would work for us. I told my husband to look at plans in books and online and to pick and choose some of his favorites. I would also do the same. After about a week of searching we got our plans together. I had 3 favorites and he had 5. We started looking over them and found ONE of the 8 we choose was the same plan from the same online source. We laughed and said, “It must be meant to have this one!”

Her father had passed away and my house was burned beyond repair.

Friday, February 13, 2009 -I left my home in Gulfport, MS around 4pm on a three hour drive to Alabama. My best friend, Darryn, was with me and we had to attend a Board meeting at 8pm that night, and a Membership meeting the next morning. Mary Martha, my girlfriend who lives with me, was at her father's house in Ocean Springs, MS. Her father was 92 years old and on his death bed, she was staying with him till he passed. There are no phones where I was staying, in Alabama, and cell service is limited. Around 11:30 pm a fellow member of our club, who lives in the area, came by and woke us up. He explained that I needed to get home because I had a fire at home and there was a hole in my roof. My buddy and I drove around and found cell service. I was able to get in touch with Mary Martha and she filled me in. Her father had passed away and my house was burned beyond repair. We made the trip back to Gulfport safely. The Red Cross set us up with a place to stay and provided us with money for meals for the weekend. They also gave us a debit card for clothes and necessities purchases. My insurance company ended up declaring the house a total loss. Mary Martha's family offered us to stay in her father's house until we figured out all of our requirements in dealing with the insurance company. We ended up renting her father's house from the estate of the family, while our new house was under construction. Our next step, after demolishing the old house, was to decide on a house plan and get quotes from builders. After weeks of internet and local building store searches, we finally decided on a house plan that best meet our needs and wants. We found a certain house plan and you can imagine how surprised we were when the plans came in and we saw that they originated from Hattiesburg, MS. Darryn called me and told me he had bumped into a friend of ours that we had gone to high school and played baseball with. That friend was Johnny Willis and he was a building contractor. I called Johnny and about four other contractors and got bids for building my new home. After alot of discussions and visits to view some of the work completed and in progress, I decided on Mr. Willis. Johnny also did his own framing, this made it easy to make adjustments without having to get the plans re-drawn. Johnny stated he would have it finished in 90-120 days. He started in May of 2009, and even with the MAJOR changes, that effect building in the City of Gulfport by the Code Office and FEMA regulations, due to Hurricane Katrina. He was able to complete the project inside the alotted time frame. And in September of 2009, we moved in and became the happy owners of a beautiful home. People drive by all the time and they yell out to me, "I love your house!" and I yell back, "so do I."

Home is where the heart is. And that is exactly what went into building our house. Our whole heart. Two years ago, my husband and I married and began our new life together. We soon felt the desire to begin a family and knew that our "bachelor pad-turned-newlywed" home would not provide the space or safety we needed. We began looking at homes to buy, but realized quickly that nothing fit our needs. My husband and I bought a lot in a wonderful, safe neighborhood and began formulating ideas what our new home would look like, have in it, etc. A friend told me about this designer and we went online to check it out. Boy, am I glad we did. After looking at numerous floor plans, we found the "one". This house plan had everything we needed and envisioned in a "dream home". During the building process, we enjoyed every minute of it. We built it with our heart and so much love went into it. We built this home with our future in mind. We imagined special things like bringing our first child home, seeing their first steps, having Thanksgiving with family, putting up a Christmas tree, and countless movie nights in this house. I hear horror stories of people building houses and getting stressed out. With us, it was so reassuring that this designer provided everything in the plans for our contractor and all we had to worry about was details. Now that the house is finished, we love having friends and family over to entertain. We get so many compliments almost daily about every aspect of our home. It has now been two months since we moved in and we still just sit back and say to each other, "Wow, I cannot believe this is our home". Needless to say, we are thrilled and feel blessed beyond belief. This is an exciting time in our lives and now that we are settled into our new home, we cannot wait to see what else God has in store for us.

This is a great floor plan and everyone that has visited our home has loved it!

After looking at hundreds of floor plans at various different sites we finally narrowed our search down to one floor plan. The plan we saw met all our needs and was very easy and affordable to modify with some minor changes. Some of the small modifications we made were to expand the size of the house from 1800 sq ft to 2117 sq ft. We also used inner French doors entering the dining room and added a half-bath underneath the bonus room stairwell. We also rearranged the master bath slightly. There are so many features that we love about this home but a few of our favorites include the room locations, the extra space gained with the bonus room, and the overall look of the exterior. We found a beautiful piece of property located in a pecan orchard that would work well for this particular home design, and we used a reputable local builder and started building November of last year. It took us a little over four months to complete this house, finishing in the second week of march. We enjoyed watching the different stages of the home being completed, and although we had some doubts that some things might not turn out right, the finished home exceeded our expectations. This is a great floor plan and everyone that has visited our home has loved it!

This home will make a tremendous difference in our family's lives, and we owe it all to this designer...

I am 68 and my husband is 70 years old, and we have a 48 year old son who was involved in a near fatal car accident four and a half years ago. He is now completely wheelchair dependent, has a wife with two kids, and now lives with us. We take care of him morning to night, and many of the day-to-day tasks are quite time consuming and strenuous, especially for people of our age. Our previous home did not work well with our son's wheelchair, and after praying for some time, we found a house plan that had been built here locally. We immediately fell in love with this beautiful plan and are now in the process of building it with full wheelchair-accessibility, and cannot wait to get moved in... This home will make a tremendous difference in our family's lives, and we owe it all to this designer...
