This design includes many requested features, and is a two car garage version of one of our most popular houses. The plan features 9' ceilings, two large bedrooms, two baths (one with oversized jet tub, and one with tub/shower combination), two raised bars for informal visiting with friends and family, a sunroom, separate laundry, linen, pantry, gas logs and plenty of built-ins. These features make this a very functional and fun home to live in!

We are definately enjoying living in our new home!

Construction began December 2008, and we moved into the house late April 2009. I had always wanted a split bedroom plan, and with our situation it gives the privacy that we so wanted. My Mother has the "Mother-in-law suite" on one end of the house, and we have the rest. I'm glad we purchased the prints from this designer and would highly recommend them to anyone who is planning on building a home...

I spent many nights looking on the internet for house plans. After about 2-3 weeks of looking my husband and I decided on this house plan. We liked the front porch going across the front of the home and the size of the master bath & bed room. We received our plans and that began four months of decisions. The only other home that we had built was back in the 60's with a local homebuilder in the Houston area. We sub-contracted out the building of this home with the help of our daughter and a nephew who is in the building business. The foundation was poured in December and we moved in the 17th of April. My mother moved in to the home with us in February of 2008. We have been in our home going on 3 years and every week or so my husband and I look at each other and say how much we enjoy this home. We cannot come up with anything we would change. Our nephew that is in the home building business has built 2 homes from the prints of our house. People drive by and some have stopped in to let us know how much they admire the outside of the home and our family tells us that they “love” the inside. I'm glad we purchased the prints from this designer and would highly recommend them to anyone who is planning on building a home...

I found the house plan I had been looking for when I opened the magazine...

My wife and I had been looking at different house plans for a while, and I was the holdout. My wife told me if we were ever going to build a larger home, we should do it while our children were young. That convinced me. It was time to build, but I still had not found the "perfect" plan. I happened to meet Stephen Mathis at a local gym, and he gave me a copy of the house plan catalog. I found the house plan I had been looking for when I opened the magazine. I showed it to my wife, and she loved the plan as well. We began the process of making minor customizations with the designer's staff, and we soon had a working set of plans to begin building with.I would HIGHLY recommend the good folks for anyone looking for a new home design...
